Djurslands Jazzfestival 2026 og Pavillonen præsenterer

Jakob Buchanan Komponist og trompetist

Jakob Buchanan er blevet hædret som Årets Jazzkomponist 2024 ved Danish Music Awards for albummet Song & Wind (Our Recordings). Han er særligt anerkendt for sine orkesterkompositioner, der forener klassisk musik, jazz og improvisation. Tidligere har han turneret med bl.a. Marilyn Mazur, Jakob Bro oma. og hans album Requiem blev opført i Musikhuset Aarhus efter at have modtaget både Årets Album og Årets Komponist ved Danish Music Awards tilbage i 2016.
